Noboru Yamada has summited Everest 3 times and 3 different ways. He first summited Everest the first time via the standard south east ridge route on December 16, 1983 during the winter season! One of the very few to Summit Everest in winter and live to tell about it....
Second he summited Everest Oct 30, 1985 without the use of bottled oxygen via the standard south east ridge.
Third, he summited Everest and traversed the mountain from North to South.
